Lise Beutel

UL TerraChoice’s unique value is combining science and sustainability marketing to help genuine leaders grow their businesses. Lise Beutel brings more than eight years of consumer marketing experience, a background in science, and extensive knowledge of Corporate Social Responsibility and environmental issues to her role as Senior Business Consultant for UL TerraChoice.
Lise’s consulting roles at UL TerraChoice have included project manager and lead consultant for the Biodiversity Education and Awareness Network business and operational planning project, lead consultant for Georgia-Pacific’s environmental marketing initiatives, and lead consultant on the development of an “environmental nutritional label” (an ISO Type III-based environmental product declaration) for a consumer packaged goods company. Her clients span a variety of industries including the cleaning, building, and paper sectors with a focus on consumer packaged goods.
Lise has also acted as the French media spokesperson for the Sins of Greenwashing campaign, beginning in 2007, interviewing with major French media such as Radio Canada and for a documentary on the cosmetics industry. She has expertise in business strategy, marketing communications, program design and project management and implementation through her current work for UL TerraChoice and through her previous experience as the Marketplace Distribution Analyst for NIKE WHQ and as the International Marketing Manager for EMI Music.
Lise graduated from the MBA program at McGill University in 2007 with a concentration in Corporate Social Responsibility and has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Carleton University.
